Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X Review
If you want to take advantage of laser hair removal without having to shell out a small fortune or make several trips to the salon, Tria may just be the right choice for you. Using the same laser technology that the professionals use, Tria can achieve long-term hair removal right from home.
One of the most important things we looked at when reviewing this system was safety. A poor design or wrong technique may lead to unfavorable results, so we wanted to make sure that we were going to be safe when using this.
Tria comes with detailed instructions and a built-in skin sensor for your protection. The skin sensor detects your skin color to ensure that the laser is safe for use. One thing I do want to note is that Tria can’t be used on medium and dark skin tones. You also can’t use it on the face or other sensitive areas of the body (e.g. the genital area).
The one thing we loved about the Tria was that it was so easy to use. All you have to do is clean and dry your skin, and you’re ready for use.
There are five treatment, or energy, levels to choose from. We recommend starting on low, and then working your way up to higher settings if necessary. This will allow you to gauge your skin’s reaction to the laser and prevent unwanted or accidental injury. Treatments can be performed once every two weeks for up to three months.
The LED display will guide you through the treatment process, so you’re never left guessing what to do next. On the display, you’ll find the following information:
Power Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X
- Pulse counter to ensure coverage accuracy.
- Skin sensor indicator to let you know if the sensor is ready for use.
- Battery indicator, which will blink when the battery level is low.
- Lock icon for added safety. The lock signals that the device is not in use and will only unlock when the skin sensor engages.
- Treatment level, so you can choose an appropriate comfort level.
The Tria also has a 30-minute battery life, so you can treat multiple areas of the body in one session. The cordless, battery operation is convenient, too, and you can bring the Tria with you on the go.
- Easy to use
- Highly effective
- Added safety features
- Cost effective alternative to professional laser treatment
- Not suitable for all skin types
Like other similar at-home systems, the Tria is not suitable for all skin types. This is to be expected as professional laser treatments are not suitable for darker skin tones, but it should be noted for anyone considering buying the Tria.
The Tria may cost a little more than other similar at-home treatment devices, but it’s still a far more cost-effective option than professional laser treatments. Effective, easy to use and cleared by the FDA, we recommend Tria to anyone looking for an alternative to professional laser treatments.
