More info: Paspatoo. com

Originally built by Blanchard on Seattles Lake Union, commissioned by the US Army in 1942 as “T-Boat 32”

Paspatoo underwent a non-stop 30 year complete reconstruction/yacht conversion ($28m USD pre-inflation costs). The first 6 years of her reconstruction took place in California, then delivered to Port Townsend where from 1986 to 2013 the project was completed by Port Townsend co-op, Townsend Bay Marine and Haven Boatworks. Redesigned by Eden & Eden Architects. Paspatoo’s last systems updates took place through 2017 and 2024. New batteries, inverters and aux chargers installed 1/24. She is currently hauled out undergoing a professional refit to bring all maintenance up to par.

Redesigned by Eden and Eden Architects, San Francisco, CA.

Designed by famed naval architect Ralph Winslow. Following a military career, the vessel was sold into civilian life. Where many of these types of vessels were de-commissioned for relatively obscure demise, this is the example of a passion for restoration and updating without equal.

FAQ-
Does she have a COI?
Answer: No, she has never been chartered, however as she is US built and with her gross tonnage over 100tons she can be chartered as a 12 passenger UPV and with her current configuration, it would also not be difficult to acquire a COI for a higher passenger count

Paspatoo is managed by an incredible captain who would love to continue managing and maintaining Paspatoo under her next ownership - otherwise lessons can be provided to the next owner/captain

2.5 staterooms, 2 heads, heat and air conditioning, state of the art ventilation systems, teak hot tub on aft deck, outdoor shower

Her state of the art ventilation systems are two separate systems; one system for the cabins and the other for the bilge, preventing odors from forming, providing constant fresh air for comfort and allowing the hull to breath

Hull; constructed of old growth Douglas fir planks. Carvel planking is 9"x 2 ½"on hull below waterline, hull sides are 4"x 2 ½" planks. Planking is fastened to 3"× 3" oak frames, which are on 12"centers. Planking fastened galvanized fasteners. Floors and stringers are bolted to framing. The hull has inner planking on hull insides. Plank seams are tight and caulking is in good order. Aft of the long keel is an iron foot, which carries the load of the rudder. At the stem, the timber is jointed to forefoot and keel with metal strap forming a gripe plate to strengthen stem to keel joint.
The planking is well hooded into the rabbet of stem post. Large rub rail timber is attached to hull just below the shear. Ironwood is used on starboard bow to protect hull from anchor.
