How to Unlock Weapon Memories in B2?
Following the disappearance of the Mea Culpa, The Penitent Onewill instead be able to wield three Weapons at will, especially once players have found the other two during their journey -the war censer,Veredicto, the dual dagger and blade,Sarmiento and Centella, and the curved blade,Ruego Al Alba. After choosing one of the three at the start of the game and then venturing on, players will eventually meet Yerma in Profundo Lamento, after a difficult fight against a Ruined Knight. After speaking with her for the first time, players are given a Steely Battle Lance, and with it access to The Penitent One's Weapons'Weapon Memories.
Blasphemous 2 How do Weapon Memories Work?
After unlocking the Weapon Memories system by meeting Yerma for the first time, players will be able to access theWeapon Memories from the main menu. There, players are able to select new combat abilities and techniques that will a stark difference in how they can wield their chosen Weaponagainst Enemies. Unlocking nodes will cost Marks of Martyrdom, with the cost increasing along with the node's tier level.
Smaller nodes will serve to strengthen or add properties to the bigger node they are connected to. Some nodes introduce entirely new techniques, while others confer passive bonuses for key signature aspects of the Weapon. Ruego Al Alba's techniques have to do with an additional gauge that appears when unlocked, called the Blood Pact, which initially will simply increase your damage. Sarmiento and Centella's techniques have to do with generating electricity along with its quick playstyle. Veredicto's techniques produce fire and focus on its destructive capabilities.

Marks of Martyrdom are important resources that the player naturally gets as they journey through Cvstodia withThe Penitent One. These are mainly acquired for killingEnemiesthrough Execution and eliminatingBosses. However, it is actually a semi-hidden mechanic that can be seen when opening the menu.
There is actually a gauge that fills up with Martyrdom points that are gained whenever you kill anEnemy. Along with Tears of Atonement,Enemiesdrop certain numbers of Martyrdom points. Filling up the gauge will grant one Mark of Martyrdom, which meansBossesgive Marks of Martyrdom upon death because killing them fills up the gauge faster. Execution kills also make Enemies drop a bit more points than they usually do when killed. All About Ruego Al Alba in Blasphemous 2
Ruego Al Albais theweapon that seems to be the most similar to the Mea Culpa from the first game due to it being a balanced one-handed blade. It is generally also the most balanced out of the threeweapons in terms of speed and power. At its base form, you'll be able to do a three-hit combo, with each hit dealing moderate damage, and with the last hit dealing the most damage. You'll also have an attack called the Weight of Sin, which is an attack that plunges down from a greater height.Ruego Al Alba will eventually feature the Blood Pact upgrade from its Weapon Memories, which creates a special gauge that builds up by attacking Enemies. Using up this gauge allows players to do things like deal extra damage or use special attacks.

All About Veredicto in Blasphemous 2
Veredictois the slowest of the threeweapons, but is the one that deals the most amount of damage per swing. One swing hits the target twice for moderate damage. At its base form, it also has the extra feature of being able to do a charge attack that deals a tremendous amount of damage even without any upgrades yet. To balance this damage output, this war censer is also the slowest to use among the threeweapons.Thisweapon offers the newest and most unique playstyle out of all theweapons,and will reward players who are more patient and able to choose the right moments to take a swing.

All About Sarmiento and Centella in Blasphemous 2
The unique sword and dagger comboSarmiento and Centellaboasts tremendous speed with its flurry of attacks. Each attack deals the lowest amount of damage when compared to the other twoweapons, but the number of hits you can do in a short amount of time more than makes up for it. With a large number of hits, the chances of getting a critical hit, or a hit that deals more than the usual damage, also inevitably increases. Thisweapon is a bit similar to Mea Culpa in this regard, just in the way that The Penitent One is able to handle the previousweapon to produce flurries of stabs. All this being said, it is quite easy to be caught trying to get even more hits in and inevitably getting caught by Enemy attacks, so thisweapon entails a certain amount of discipline for its wielders.
