Remington is one of the leading names in the beauty industry, and the company’s products are always known for their quality. When we first heard about the Remington IPL6250, we just had to get our hands on it to give it a try.
And we were shocked with the results that we saw during our Remington IPL6250 review.
- Upgraded model with the latest technology
- 5 levels of intensity
- Results are permanent, and you’ll see results in as little as 5 treatments
- No need to replace expensive cartridges
- Can’t be used above the neck
Technically, we’re not sure if this model will work above the neck, but we do know that the manufacturer states that you should not use this model above the neck. For men, this means not using this epilator on the neck or face (bummer).
But if you have a lot of body hair, the IPL6250 will do the trick.
Our Remington IPL6250 Review
Remington really outperformed our expectations, and this model is so easy to use, it is near effortless. Small and compact, you’ll find that with the right routine, this model works wonders to reduce hair permanently.
And it has been clinically proven to work.
Also, never use this model right after sun tanning as it can cause adverse side effects (so others have warned against). With that in mind, you’ll want to:
- Shave the area
- Clean the area
- Make sure the area is dry
Once you have done all of this, you will choose between the different light intensities and will be on your way to smooth skin. Now, I only recommend shaving if you have a lot of hair or thicker patches of hair. Men, you’ll want to shave the area, but women with shorter hair will do fine just cleaning and drying the skin prior to epilation.
When the flash goes off, you’ll notice that it is very intense and hot. Not so hot that you’re in dire pain, but hot enough to notice (don’t worry, even professional models do this).
A little tip I use to know when it’s “working” is to smell for burnt hair. Generally, you’ll smell the aroma of burnt hair when you use the IPL6250, and if you don’t, boost the light intensity setting. Light intensity of 1 should be used on sensitive areas, while higher levels can be used on non-sensitive areas and areas with thicker skin.
Even after several uses, we didn’t experience:
You won’t notice a difference in the density of your hair for the first few weeks. Instead, you’ll start to notice that the epilator is working several weeks after usage. It takes quite some time for the hair to fall out and since hair grows in cycles, you need to hit the “active” cycles properly for the epilator to work.
So, it’s all a matter of time before you start to notice a serious reduction in the overall thickness of the hair on your body.
After just a few short months, you’ll need to only use your Remington IPL6250 once every few weeks as a form of maintenance and enjoy smooth, hairless skin as a result.
